The Old Northwood Historic District is a U.S. historic district located in West Palm Beach, Florida. The district is bounded by Broadway, North Dixie Highway and 26th and 35th Streets.
The House – Vieja Escuela
Viejja Escuela (The Old School) – From what we read, the house used to be an old nursing school in the 1920’s. When we purchased the home our real estate agent surprised us with an old photo of nursing students and children/ We printed the photo, framed it and hung it in the living room. We purchased the house in 2019 and have done extensive renovations so that we may convert it into a short-term rental. We are very hands-on and are always looking for ways to improve the property.
